Build the stage.
Let people shine.

A stronger home for pageantry arts — connecting people, strengthening organizations, and creating more ways for our community to take part.

Our purpose

The art is visible.
Our work makes it possible.

Great performances grow from strong organizations and connected communities.

YYC Performing Arts Society exists to advance arts, culture, education, and community development in Calgary and surrounding communities, with a focus on pageantry arts.

We help build the conditions where creative programs can grow, adapt, and make a lasting difference.

How we help

Behind every bold performance is a strong foundation.

We work at the intersection of creativity and capacity — helping organizations do their best work, for the long term.

01

Build strong foundations

We support the systems behind the art — governance, administration, training, mentorship, and organizational development.

02

Connect the community

We bring arts organizations, educators, cultural partners, and supporters together around shared possibility.

03

Make room for what's next

We honour established traditions while opening the door to new programs, new models, and wider access to the arts.

Rooted in pageantry arts

Where movement, music, and community meet.

Pageantry arts bring disciplines together. So do we.

From the rehearsal room to the boardroom, we believe every part of a healthy arts ecosystem matters. We are building on the strength of Calgary's existing traditions while creating space for new expressions and new generations to participate.
